Stunning Solar Building Will Generate More Power Than It Needs

The Masdar Headquarters building will produce more power than it needs (an energy positive building). In fact, the solar roof (one of the largest in the world) will be constructed first, and it will power the construction of the rest of the building. The video link on this page has a great view of the sun-infused interior.

This is the way buildings need to be created, these need to be energy-positive. Other resources can be accessed with the surplus power, such as safe holding tanks for, Hydrogen. The question of food-shortage could be addressed, with grow-lights and climate control for plants.
That need for dehumidification from the moisture could be powered, cost-effectively inside a energy-positive building. When done on a large-enough scale, water could be pumped out of the ground, for plants. Where would water from dehumidification go, this would be the grey-water area because toilets do need water.
The technology which is listed would go, first on the large scale where it is cost-effective to pay for newly designed equipment, just like early electric-computers. After production facilities are created for components of energy-positive structures, the technology will eventually reach residential buildings, the same way computers became small enough to fit in an office.
